Maria G. (Pasquale) Sandonato of Stoneham, formerly of Medford passed away on Tuesday August 3, 2004 at her home in Stoneham. She was 86 years of age.
Born in Prezza, Italy, Maria was the daughter of the late Luigi Pasquale and Pasquarosa (DiRamio) Pasquale. Maria was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Maria was a dedicated homemaker for many years. Her family was first and foremost in her life. Maria had a warm and gentle smile that embraced everyone who knew her.
Maria was the beloved wife of the late Umberto Sandonato. She was the devoted mother of Pasquarosa Svizzero and her husband Domenic, Donna Cutone and her husband Giuseppe, all of Stoneham, Gina Sandonato of Brookline. Maria was the cherished grandmother of John, Lisa, Karen, Laura, Mary, Sandra, and Elisabeth and the loving great grandmother of Talia, Matthew, Mia, Mark Anthony and Dereck. She was the dear sister of the late Concetta Pasquale of Medford.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Friday 4-9pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
