Richard Bundrick, 62, of Abbeville, Georgia, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Friday, April 19, 2013, at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. Interment will follow in the Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwinville. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Bundrick was born July 6, 1950, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Coy Bundrick and the late Una Mae Traylor Herman. He graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1968 and received his automotive training in Americus. He lived in the community most of his life and was a former resident of Fort Pierce, Florida. Mr. Bundrick was an auto mechanic and was a former employee of Roberts’s Body Shop.
He is survived by his wife: Vera Harp Bundrick of Abbeville; daughter: Sabrina (Heath) Parks of Abbeville; stepdaughter: Carla (Billy) Childers of Okeechobee, Florida; stepdaughter: Michelle (Justin) Meyers of Sevierville, Tennessee and grandchildren: Kaleb Smith, Ashley Childers, Tabitha Childers and Billy Childers, Jr. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather: Marcus Turner.
