Obituary

Paul E. Bourassa, 59, of Manchester, died at his residence April 16, 2013 after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Manchester April 5, 1954 the son of Henry H. Bourassa and the late Rachel (Provencher) Bourassa. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Paul served in the US Air Force for several years and later worked for the US Postal Service for 29 years.

He was an avid motorcyclist and was president of the “Nut Gang”

He leaves his wife of 35 years, Ruth A. (Hebert) Bourassa of Manchester; three children, Jennifer Lafayette and her husband, Michael, and their daughter Maeve of Bedford; Jerry Bourassa and his wife, Erin, of Medford, MA and John Bourassa and his wife, Kelly, of Manchester; his father, Henry H. Bourassa of Manchester; a brother, Norman H. Bourassa and his wife, Fran, of Jay, VT; a sister, Doris I. Marr of Goffstown; nieces and nephews.



A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, April 19, 2013 in St. Francis Church, St. Francis Way, Litchfield, NH.

Burial followed in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen where committal prayers, followed by military honors, took place.
