GLOUCESTER: Tina T. (Longo) Moceri, 76, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in the Tufts Medical Center, Boston as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was the beloved wife of Joseph B. Moceri, with whom she would have celebrated 56 years of marriage in November.
Born in Boston on June 8, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Dominico and Sarah (McAllister) Longo. She was a graduate of St. Ann’s High School class of 1954. A resident of Gloucester for most of her life, Tina lived in Lowell for many years before returning to Gloucester in 1994. She was a very compassionate and caring person to her family and friends. She loved music and all animals. An avid bingo player, she was also a voracious reader.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Theresa Moceri of Hudson, NH, Sandy Mansfield and her husband, Rick of Essex, Joseph B. Moceri, Jr. of Gloucester, Michael Moceri of Lowell and Paul Moceri and his wife, Kim of Hudson, NH; eight grandchildren, Rick Mansfield and his fiancée, Jevon, Tom Mansfield, Tim, Joe, Alex, Tina, Veronica and Vincent Moceri; two sisters, Sarah West and Dolly Provost and her husband, Don; three brothers, Sonny Longo and his wife, Donna, Dick Longo and Joe Longo and his wife, Dotty; a brother-in-law, Steve Landry and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sister, Mary Landry and her brother, Charles Longo.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday in Holy Family Parish, St. Ann Church, Gloucester at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Friday in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle St., Gloucester from 5 - 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester.
