Obituary

Edward DiJulia, age 68 of Medford passed away August 2nd, following a brief illness. He was the son of the late Lucy (Franceschelli) and Anthony DiJulia. Known as “Gorvernor” to his many friends and family, he worked for many years as a walking courier in Boston, delivering documents from office building to office building despite the challenges he faced as a person afflicted with cerebral palsy. Edward was very active in Medford and was always knowledgeable on current events. He enjoyed socializing with many friends at the Main St. Dunkin Donuts everyday. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Edwards memory to the Cebral Palsy of MA, 43 Old Colony Ave, Quincy, MA 02170

Edward is survived by his step mother Rose (Esposito) DiJulia of Woburn, his sister Jeanne Glynn of Bend, OR and step sister Anne Cersosimo of Holland. He is preceded in death by his step brother Joseph Cersosimo. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Saturday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church 71 Warner St. Medford/Somerville at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
