Augusta, GA – Mrs. Annie Lee Edwards Smith, 96, beloved wife of the late Clyde McArthur Smith, entered into rest on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Inez Thomas Personal Care Home.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. J. Andrew Menger officiating.
Mrs. Smith was born in Crawfordville, GA to the late Samuel and Ruby Stewart Edwards. She worked as a nursing assistant with University and St. Joseph hospitals in Augusta. Mrs. Smith was a member of Southgate Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Wallace Wayne Smith (Kay) of Keysville, GA; her brother, Billy Edwards (JoAnn) of Social Circle, GA; and by her nephews, Hayward Edwards of Social Circle, GA, and Boyd Edwards of Macon, GA.
