William S. “Bill” Stratton
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest, Sunday, April 14, 2013, Mr. William S. “Bill” Stratton, 77, husband of Mrs. Merribeth Stratton.
Mr. Stratton was a native of Anderson County, KY but lived in the Appling-Augusta area for the past 36 years.
Family members in addition to his wife include children: Bryan Stratton of Appling, Michelle McConnel of Evans, David Stratton of Indiana, Gary Stratton of Burgin, KY, Dianna Freeman of Burgin, KY and Janet Sanders of Harrodsburg, KY; sister: Susan Searcey of Lawrenceburg, KY; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Stratton was preceded in death by his son Dennis Stratton of Augusta.
A visitation memorial service will be held will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors with Pastor Kim Webb officiating.
