Jeffery "Neal" Bennett, Jr., age 22, died Friday, April 12, 2013 at his home in Coffeeville, MS. He was born November 30, 1990 in Grenada, MS to Jeffery Neal Bennett, Sr. and Paula Ann Turner Best. Neal was a self-employed mechanic and a member of Elam Baptist Church in Coffeeville, MS. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mud riding, and fixing cars. Neal loved his nephews, his babies and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation is planned for Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Elam Baptist Church in Coffeeville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Elam Church with Bro. Bernette Fielder and Bro. Marty Evans officiating.
Neal is survived by his fiance, Tasha Dempsey Bennett of Coffeeville, MS; one son, Carter Anthony Bennett of Coffeeville, MS; his parents, Jeffery Neal Bennett, Sr. and Paula Ann Turner Best; four sisters, Amanda Bennett (Adam) and Keri Bennett all of Coffeeville, MS, April Crow of Adamsville, TN and Alyssa Bennett of Grenada, MS; one brother, Ryan Crow (Bernadette Melton) of Water Valley, MS; his grandparents, Charles and Peggy Bennett of Coffeeville, MS.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Karen Bennett; his step-father, Bobby Ray Best; and his grandparents, Larry and Lula Turner
