Leonard W. Pavao, age 72 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 13, 2013. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Pereira) Pavao and son of the late Manuel & Alice (Aguiar) Pavao. He resided in Swansea for most of his life and had worked for the Swansea Police Dept. as a firearms instructor. He also was a carpenter, an engineer, a surveyor and a trucker. He had been a member of St. Michael Church in Swansea.
Leonard was the father of Bobby Pavao of Swansea and Barbara Erickson (husband Erik J.) both of Swansea; brother of Veronica Megans. He also leaves 3 grandchildren: Andrew, Christopher and Daniel and a niece.
His funeral service following cremation will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River WEDNESDAY at 11:30 A.M. preceded by a wake from 11:00-11:30 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery will be private.
