Jackson Edward Mancil, age 72, of Newton, GA passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Mancil was born on December 26, 1941 in Willacoochee, GA to the late Tim and Estelle Wright Mancil.
Survivors include: Wife: Barbara Ann Carter Mancil of Newton, GA; Four Sons: Donald Mancil of Pelham, GA; Ronald ( Gloria Jean) Mancil of Colquitt, GA; Roger (Lisa) Mancil of Newton, GA; Robert Mancil of Camilla, GA. Two Daughters: Teresa Mancil of Camilla, GA and Melissa (Jessie Hall) Davis, Newton, GA. Three Sisters: Waunell Sweat of Douglas, GA; Kathryn Gates of Virginia; and Virginia Faye Chaney of Douglas, GA; Six Grandchildren, Five great grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews.
The Mancil family will be receiving relatives and friend on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
