CHESTER, NH - Ida M. (Paolino) Decker, age 91, died peacefully Wednesday, April 10, at the Aurora Senior Living of Derry, NH. She was the beloved wife of the late, Wallace E. Decker who died in 1991.
She was born October 12, 1921 and raised in Lawrence, a daughter of the late, Pasquale and Maria (Ragosta) Paolino. She moved to Tewksbury in 1955 to raise her family. She worked as a secretary at the Army Research Center in Natick where she met her husband Wally. She also worked at AVCO in Wilmington. She later worked and retired from the I.R.S. in Andover.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff Decker of Rindge, NH, Christopher and Patricia (Girard) Decker of Chester, NH; her grandchildren, Amie (Decker) Marcotte and her husband John Marcotte, Gerald McDonnell, Mary Decker, Michelle Decker, John Girard, and Andrew Girard; her great grandchildren, Dylan Marcotte, Jasmine Marcotte, and Johnathan Marcotte.
She was the sister of the late, Gloria Cipolla, formerly of North Andover.
Her Funeral Service was held Monday, April 15, in the funeral home, followed by a burial at Tewksbury Cemetery. Donations made in her memory to, The Greater Derry Humane Society, 57 Lawrence Rd. Derry, NH 03038, will be appreciated.
