Worcester – Sally J. (Thoreen) Goyette, 80, of Worcester, died on Wednesday, April 3rd in the Golden Living Center – Hermitage after a short illness.
Mrs. Goyette was married to George R. Goyette who died in 2001. She is survived by a son, Thomas E. Goyette of St. Pete Beach, FL; a daughter, Sally A. Goyette of Worcester; two grandsons, Jonathan Goyette of Las Vegas, NV and Christopher Goyette of Colorado Springs, CO; a great grandchild, Harley Goyette of Las Vegas, NV and many nephews and nieces.
Sally was born in Worcester, daughter of Eric A. and Loretta D. (Hines) Thoreen and is also predeceased by a son George E. Goyette who died in 1999 and two sisters, Ann Desaulniers and Miriam Dupont.
Mrs. Goyette frequented the Worcester Senior Center and enjoyed reading, sewing, playing scrabble, taking trips to the beach and most of all liked being with her children.
A Memorial Mass to celebrate Sally’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 10 AM in St. Peter’s Church 931 Main St. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
