Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Patrice (MacFeeley) Brancaleone, 59, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in the Addison Gilbert Hospital following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Jack J. Brancaleone.
Born in Gloucester on November 23, 1953, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Ruth (Wells) MacFeeley. A lifelong resident of Gloucester, Patrice was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1971 and Burdett College.
Patrice was employed as the office manager for Adult Foster Care of the North Shore in Gloucester for several years. She also once worked at the U. Mass. Marine Station and as a legal secretary for Attorney George Laventis for several years. Patrice enjoyed watching her sons play baseball and loved to spend time with her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Mima.”
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Paul J. Brancaleone and his wife, Michelle (Fernandes) and Jack A. Brancaleone and his wife, Kelley (Lawson) all of Gloucester; three grandchildren, Janelle, Jack and Noah Brancaleone; a sister, Janet M. Dunsky and her husband, Don; three brothers, William W. MacFeeley and his wife, Laura, Angus J. MacFeeley and his wife, Setsko and Alan MacFeeley; two aunts, Betty Austin and Florence Verhalen and her husband, James and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle St., Gloucester at 12 noon. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 – 12 noon. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Adult Foster Care of the North Shore, “Summer Camp Fund”, 63 Middle St., Gloucester, MA 01930.
