BEVERLY: Dianne M. (Kelley) Carroll, 66, died on Monday, April 8, 2013 after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Lynn on November 11, 1946, she was the twin daughter of the late Robert H. and Gertrude L. (Wanstall) Kelley. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School class of 1964. Dianne had been a resident of Saugus for most of her life until moving to Beverly ten years ago. She worked as a waitress at Godfried’s in Saugus for twenty-five years and also taught ceramics.
Dianne is survived by her four children, Wendy Evans and her fiancée, Preston Small, Bonnie Leighton & her husband, Tom, Darlene Carroll and her fiancée, Scott Morse and Walter Carroll, IV and his wife, Laura; nine grandchildren; two sisters, her twin, Madelene Ostrowski and her husband, Michael and Patricia Lemonosky and her husband, James and her close special friend, John “Moe” of Saugus. She was also predeceased by her two brothers, Robert “Rockin Bob” Kelley and David H. Kelley.
A celebration of Dianne’s life will be held on Thursday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly at 11:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10 – 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend. Interment will be held in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Dianne’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
