Lynne B. Dawson age 58 died Sunday night at her home. Mrs. Dawson was a senior Physical Therapist at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA for over 25 years.
She was born in Bridgeport, Conn. Educated and graduated from Trumbell, CT schools in 1963. She earned her bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York in 1967. Mrs. Dawson has been a Salem resident for the past 34 years and spent many of those years working as a Physical Therapist for the Easter Seals Agency of Manchester, NH the local VNA, the Kimme Nichols Center and several local area nursing homes. She attended the Pleasant Street United Methodist Church in Salem for many years and most recently attended St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Sandown, NH. She was also very active with the Girl Scouts of America.
She leaves her husband of 36 years John Dawson,
son Gregg Dawson, his wife Elizabeth and their daughter Katie of Salem, NH:
daughter Marcie Leamy her husband Keith and their son Drew of Salem, NH:
a sister, Odette Renner of Inverness, FL
and several nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Matthews United Methodist Church Rt. 121A in Sandown, NH followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH.
Calling hours are on Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9pm at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home 214 Main Street in Salem, NH.
