Dorothy T. (Taber ) Scott, 93, of New Bedford died August 2, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late George D. Scott.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late George C. and Kathryn (Carney) Taber, she lived in New Bedford all her life. She was a graduate of Holy Family High School and New Bedford Textile School.
She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
Mrs. Scott was formerly employed by Hallmark Nursing Home as a bookkeeper for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include a son, George D. Scott; a daughter, Mary Szwaja; and 4 grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Mary Cairns.
