MELLETT, Theodore “Ted”, 79, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013.
He was retired as owner of Kentuckiana Chemical and Supply, was a member of Louisville Baptist Temple and Highland Park Masonic Lodge #865.
Mr. Mellett is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shelby (Boatman) Mellett; children, David Mellett and Brenda Garrett (Tim); grandchildren, Christian Mellett, Lauren Garrett, Georgia Mellett, David Mellett, Jr., and Logan Garrett; and sisters, Mary Avery, Alice White and Ruth Lockard.
His service will be Friday 2pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-7pm Thursday at the funeral home.
