Mr. James W. Martin, of Taunton and formerly of Braintree, died Wednesday, April 3 at his residence following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Baron) Martin. He was born 70 years ago in Boston, the son of the late Herbert and Martha (Martin) Hanscom. He was educated in Boston and had been a Braintree resident for 20 years before moving to Taunton in 2002. He was employed in security at Fox Hill Village in Westwood for 20 years. James enjoyed spending time with his family.
He leaves: 1 daughter: Rachael (Martin) Kirkpatrick of Taunton; 2 grandchildren: Haylee and Collin Kirkpatrick, both of Taunton, and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held in the Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, on Monday, April 8 at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
