Loneda T. Barnard

Loneda Trissel Barnard, 98, of Anderson, died April 1, 2013 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
She was born August 14, 1914 in Frankton, Indiana the daughter of Clem V. and Daisy M. (Kretzer) Trissel.
She married Fred A. Barnard on August 1, 1941.
She worked at Delco Remy Division of General Motors retiring in 1967. She was a member of the Frankton Christian Church. She resided most of her life in Anderson and Frankton. She retired to Venice, Florida where she and her husband Fred lived 30 years after retiring. She returned to Anderson in 2003.
She enjoyed gardening and playing Bingo.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews; Elmira Shea; Wanda Little; Rowlena Blackford; Judy Gray; Sherry Scott; Patty Handy; Dick Trissel; Rick Trissel; and Bill Painter.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred A. Barnard on September 17, 1995; four brothers and seven sisters, Harry Trissel;, Golda Daugherty; Harold Trissel; Zelpha Adams; Dorothy Trissel; Flossie Hacket; Georgia Painter; Wilbur "Joe" Trissel, Mercedes Barnett, , Roberta Massey and Donald Trissel
The family wishes to extend their thanks to her personal caregivers who cared for her the past six months.
Services will be 3 PM on Friday, April 5, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Steve Gettinger officiating. Burial will take place at IOOF K of P Cemetery in Frankton. Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 3 PM.
