SAKILLARIS, Michael A. 64, of Newton passed away on April 2, 2013. Beloved husband of Irene (Renee) Sakillaris of 40 years. Cherished father of Kristen and her husband Christopher Slowe. Devoted grandfather of Mia Grace Slowe. Son of Irene Sakillaris and the later Peter Sakillaris. Brother of Diane Paterakis and her husband Nick.
Chemical Engineering Fellow at Dow Advanced Materials in Marlboro. Mason and past Master of Charity Lodge, Cambridge, and Past Secretary of Beth-Horon (formerly Nehoiden) Lodge, Needham. Member of the Aleppo Shrine. An avid reader, gardener and craftsman, Michael's greatest joy was his family.
