Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9 am. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 m. Donations in Dorothea’s memory may be made to the Angelo School Scholarship Fund, 472 N. Main St.,Brockton, MA 02301.

Mrs. Skinner died Thursday afternoon at the Braemoor Nursing and Rehabilitation after a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late Matthew and Anna (Rakacweczki) Savage. She graduated from Dorchester High School Class of 1938 and moved to Brockton in 1970. She was a homemaker and she was an avid knitter, crocheter and a sewer. Past communicant of St. Edward Church. Wife of the late Irwin J. Skinner and sister of the late Eleanor Harrington and Leon Savage
She is survived by, a daughter, Lorraine A. McLaughlin and her husband David of Little Compton, RI, two sons, Mathew J. Skinner of Little Compton, RI and Stephen P. Skinner and his wife Nancy of Hingham, five grandchildren, Kelly Markett of Canton; David McLaughlin of Easton; Matthew McLaughlin of Concord, NH; Anna Skinner and Jack Skinner both of Hingham and 2 great grandchildren of Emmaline and Owen Markett and many nieces and nephews.
