Obituary

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we are announcing the passing of our beloved Steven Martin Sullivan on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013.
Born on January 13, 1969 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, described by his mother as a truly beautiful baby. His family moved from Pennsylvania to California when Steve was 10 months old.
Survived by wife, Jacqueline Sullivan, stepchildren, Nicole, Mark and Joey Malandra, and stepgrandchildren Gina, Julianna, Anthony and Aiden. Jewels was raised by Steve the past four years and he was a grandfather/father figure to her and the light of his life. She will miss her Stevie terribly. Not having children of his own, he always spoiled his nieces and nephews and had a special place in his heart for them. They will truly miss their uncle.
Steve also leaves behind his mother, Jackie Smith of Camarillo, his father, Martin Sullivan of Pahrump, Nevada, his siblings, brothers, Jeff Sullivan and Danny Sullivan and sister Tina Milici (nee Sullivan), his nephews David, Daniel and Max and nieces Julia, Amanda, Zoey and Amy Marie.
Steve grew up and attended school in the San Fernando Valley and moved to Ventura in 1999, where he had a successful career as an owner operator for a moving company. Steve loved the work he did and liked to make the customers’ moving experience a pleasant one. He got a kick out of being called "Bossman" by his crew, a term of endearment. He was very fond of his guys and one of his favorite people, Gloria, who took a chance on him. Steve made many life long friends throughout his life. He was a generous and caring person and will be greatly missed by all.
Steve was blessed with many wonderful friends over his 44 years. He was an avid Steelers fan. Steve’s friends could always come to him for help. He was a kind and loving soul.
