Donald A. Hargreaves, 72, of Derry, NH, died Thursday, July 29, 2004 in the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. Mr. Hargreaves was born in Methuen, MA on August 3, 1931, a son of the late Harry and Mabel (Clarke) Hargreaves. He was a resident of Derry for 40 years, formerly living in Massachusetts. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed by Daniel's Equipment in Auburn for the past five years. He was formerly employed by Nashua Industrial Machine Corp. (NIMC) for 15 years and the Town of Derry for 10 years.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley (Huard) Hargreaves of Derry three sons, David Hargreaves of Manchester, Robert Hargreaves and his wife Laurie of Raymond, NH, Dennis Hargreaves of Derry, two daughters, Donna Hargreaves, Cheryl Heath both of Derry, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, four brothers, Wilfred Hargreaves, Thomas Hargreaves, Richard Hargreaves, Robert Hargreaves, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 2nd at 1:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. Friends may call on Sunday from 6 - 9pm at the funeral home.
