MIDDLEBORO – Esther L. (Kenney) Silva, wife of the late Gerard C. Silva, died at her Middleboro home on March 26, 2013.
A former Raynham resident, she was 82 years old.
Born, raised and educated in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Rosalie (Gomes) Kenney.
A homemaker for most of her adult life, Mrs. Silva and was a communicant and choir member of East Taunton’s Holy Family Church.
She enjoyed singing and was an avid animal lover.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen E. Silva and his wife Nancy of Waltham, and Roger J. Silva and his wife Lynell of Medway; a daughter, Rosemary Simmons and her husband Kenneth of Middleboro; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late William C. Kenney, Jr. and Mary P. Gonsalves.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass to be held at Holy Family Church, East Taunton on Monday, April 1st at 11 a.m.
Burial will be private at the Mass National VA Cemetery, Bourne.
