Joan F. (Levesque) Cormier, age 80 years, of Salem, Lynn and Rowley, died March 25, after a brief illness, in a local nursing home. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Lougee and Mary (Meunier) Levesque and wife of the late Richard Cormier.
She was educated in the Salem Public School System. Joan was employed with her husband at the Clough Printing Company for many years. She enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren. While living in Lynn, she resided at St. Mary’s Plaza and was an avid beano player.
She is survived by three daughters, Janet T. Cormier of St. Petersburg, Fla., Linda J. Cormier and her husband Fred Collins of Tubac, Ariz., and Debra J. Cormier and her husband Robert Dyer of Rowley; loving sister of George Levesque of Peabody, Jacqueline Femino of Salem, and her baby sister Claire Benedict of Beldine, Mich. She was the beloved grandmother of Ronda, Jennifer, Julie and Jackie; and one great-grandson Mason. She was the mother of the late Richard L., David P., and Duane E. Cormier, and sister of the late Ronald Levesque. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services in the Nadworny Funeral Home, 798 Western Avenue, Lynn, on Saturday at 11 a.m. No visiting hours.
