Derome, George of Marshfield, passed away on March 23, 2013 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Paula (Tierney) Derome. Loving father of Christopher Derome and his wife Monica Geraldi of CA and Jonathan Derome and his wife Liesl Frese of WA. Loving grandfather of Sophie, Luke and Annalise. Dear brother of Louise Zuk and her husband Stan of Stoneham. Dear Uncle of James Pierce and his partner Sue and their two children Logan and Katrina. Son of the late George and Gertrude (Peake) Derome. George was a graduate of Somerville Trade School. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. George served with the Marshfield Police and MDC police before retiring as a Massachusetts State Trooper.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, March 30 at 10:00 a.m.
Interment in Couch Cemetery.
