WORCESTER- James W. Dalzell Sr., 66, of Sachem Ave. died July 18, 2004 at home.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Patricia A. (Laramie) Dalzell, a son, James W. Dalzell Jr. of Worcester, two daughters, Kathleen P. Elloian and her husband Arthur of Charlton and Dorothy A. Bentley and her husband Daniel of Sterling, a sister, Shirley Wyman of Worcester and seven grandchildren. A brother, Richard S. Dalzell died in 2001.
He was born in Worcester, son of Sydney and Dorothy (Driscoll) Dalzell and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School. He worked for Coghlin Inc. for 49 years, 30 of those years as a construction manager. He was a member of The Greendale Peoples Church, the IBEW Local 96, and the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee.
A funeral service washeld Wednesday, July 21st in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Burial is in Worcester County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greendale People's Church 25 Francis St. Worcester 01606, in the name of James Dalzell, to be used for research to find a cure for Pancreatic cancer.
