Obituary

Philipe G. Duhaime, 84, of Bedford, a former resident of Salem, died March 19, 2013 with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Manchester on April 8, 1928, the son of Donat and Bernadette (Vigneault) Duhaime. He was educated in the local school system.
During WWII, Philipe served in the US Army and earned the WWII Victory Medal prior to this honorable discharge in 1947.
Prior to retirement, he had been employed by New Balance in Lawrence for several years.
He will be remembered for his wonderful personality and ability to make everyone laugh, even during difficult times. He enjoyed woodworking and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his wife Yvette (Godbois) Duhaime in 1990.
Family members include three daughters, Suzanne Duhaime and Anita Duhaime, both of Manchester, Lucille Daughtry and husband Wayne of Georgia; one son, Raymond Duhaime of Bedford; 7 grandchildren, Peter, Robby, Christopher, Aaron, Jason, Caitlyn, Tifeni; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Burial will be Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Meals-on-Wheels Program, 323 Franklin St, Manchester, NH 03101.
