Lorraine M. Belair, 58, of Glocester, died Monday, March 18, 2013 at Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the wife of Gerard J. “Gerry” Belair, Jr. They had been married 37 years.
Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Virginia (Grenier) DiPanni. She was a Special Needs Aide in the Glocester and Burriville School Departments and was very active in the Special Olympics.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Edward A. “Teddy” Belair of Glocester and her brother, Anthony “Tony” DiPanni of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Visitation Friday at 3-4:45pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Her funeral service will be held Friday at 5pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to RI Special Olympics, 370 George Washington Highway, Smithfield, RI 02917.
