Brian R. Spaulding, 51, of Derry, NH, died Monday March 18, 2013 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry. He was born in Manchester, NH on January 30, 1962, a son of the late Willis and Joan (Edwards) Spaulding, and had been a resident of Derry for the past year, formerly living in Hudson, NH for 20 years. Having been raised in Derry, he was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy and had attended Keene State College. Brian also attended trade school for plumbing and heating in Brockton, MA, and was employed by Ideal Temp in Fremont, NH. He loved the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins as well as sports in general. Brian enjoyed working with his hands.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy (Guy) Spaulding of Derry; two daughters, Tiffany Spaulding and Jessica Spaulding both of Derry; and three brothers, Mike Spaulding of Northwood, NH, Warren Spaulding of New York, and Joseph Durling of Auburn, NH.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Friday March 22nd at 1:00 pm in the Church of the Transfiguration, 1 Hood Road, Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Transfiguration Discretionary Fund, 1 Hood Rd., Derry, NH 03038. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
