Dellolio, Nicola J. of Brant Rock, Marshfield passed away on March 17, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 65 years of the late Marilyn (Hegarty) Dellolio. Loving father of Thomas Dellolio and his wife Aurora of FL, Timothy Dellolio and his wife Karen of Lowell, Marilyn “Mal” Ayre and her fiancé Richard Langdon of Marshfield, Patricia Ames and her husband Charles of Marshfield and the late Nikki Fenno. Loving grandfather of Chrissy, Thomas Jr., Timothy Jr., Joseph, Michael, Lysa, Gilbert, John, Dawnah, Karen,Joshua and the late Janis. Loving great grandfather of 12. Dear brother of Vincent Dellolio, Rose and Arthur Manion, Loretta Bryan, Millie McCarthy and the late Buck McCarthy, Mary Opal and the late Joseph Dellolio and Angelo Dellolio. Dear brother in law of Connie Dellolio. Dear son of the late Angelo and Rose (Messino) Dellolio. Nicola was born and raised in Nyack, New York. He served in the US Navy during WWII and served on the "WASP". Nicola was a resident of Marshfield for 57 years. He worked as a carpenter and salesman for Grossman’s in Braintree for 35 years. Nicola was a lifetime member of the Marshfield VFW. He coached Marshfield baseball. Nicola loved to garden and going to the casino.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 2 to 6 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 25 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Couch Cemetery.
