Herman O. Roussin, 68, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday, July 25, 2004 in his home. Mr. Roussin was born in Sanford, ME on April 10, 1936, a son of the late Alfred and Melina (Camire) Roussin. He was a resident of Londonderry since 1985, formerly living in Chester, NH. He was a US Army veteran who served in the Airborne Infantry. He worked for many years in electronics for Unitrode in Methuen, MA as well as several other companies. He was an avid bingo player and volunteer worker at Taylor’s Barn Bingo Hall, Derry, NH.
He is survived by two daughters, Marguerite (Roussin) Deschenes and Jeannine (Roussin) Roux both of Sanford, ME, one son, Richard Roussin Sr. of Hudson, NH, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, longtime companion, Betsy Morrill of Londonderry, one sister, Jeannine Beattie of Sanford, ME, one brother, Rudy Roussin of Las Vegas, NV, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother Roland Roussin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 29th at 11:00am at Holy Family Parish, Sanford, ME. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Sanford, ME. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. Funeral arrangements in Sanford, ME will be handled by the LaFrance-Lambert Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford, ME.
