Augusta, GA – Mrs. Audrey Brady Simpson, 91, beloved wife of the late Richard Stanley Simpson, entered into rest on Sunday, March 17, 2013.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Mark McLendon officiating.
Mrs. Simpson graduated from Tubman High School where her academic diligence allowed her to exempt all her final exams. She was a long time member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Augusta. Mrs. Simpson spent many years in the Food Service industry. After she retired, Mrs. Simpson was a caregiver for the elderly and she also was an acknowledged participant in the State of Georgia Foster Grandparent Program for a number of years.
Mrs. Simpson is survived by her three sons, Richard Dennis Simpson, Gary Steven Simpson, and Glenn Stanley Simpson; her grandchildren, Rebecca Simpson and Angela Simpson; and her four great-grandchildren.
