MARY G. HILL CARTER, 97, formerly of Louisville, departed this life Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Masonic Home, Shelbyville, KY. surrounded by loved ones.
She was a native of Holy Cross, KY. and a retired employee of Jewish Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carter, her parents, James and Alice Bray, and her brother, Joseph Bray.
Mary is survived by three sons, James Halloway, Wayne Hill (Janie) and Rick Hill; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; stepchildren, Paul Carter (Sandy), Libby Beckmann (Dwight) and Kaye Barnsfather (Jim) and their families.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo, KY.
Visitation will be from 2- 8 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Masonic Ministries, Shelbyville, KY.
