FALL RIVER …Linda Marie (Davis) Dias, 60, of Fall River passed away March 6, 2013 after a long illness. She was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Medeiros) Davis and had lived in the city her entire life. She was the spouse of Richard Dias of Fall River. She had been employed by Southeastern Mass. Home Health Aides for 7 years and was also employed by the Dominican Sisters for 15 years. Linda enjoyed knitting, sewing, arts and crafts. Survivors include her husband, a son: Dwayne R. Freitas and his wife Sandy of Fall River, two daughters: Shirley Brett and her husband Kevin, Debra Ferry both of Fall River, two sisters: Beatrice Willis of Oklahoma, Carolina Orlik of Somerset, six grandchildren: Jessica Allard, Tyler Ferry, Sydni Freitas, Toni Freitas, Landon Freitas, Matthew Brett, and four nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited to will be held Monday at 9am at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Parish of the Holy Trinity, 951 Stafford Road, Fall River. Interment is private. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent’s Home, Emergency Children’s Fund, 2425 Highland Avenue, Fall River, MA 02720. Calling hours are Sunday 5-8:00pm.
