Mary R. (Cote) Derosier 86 of 15 Clark Terrace and formerly of Howe Village, died peacefully at her grandaughter's home surrounded by her family, on Friday July 23rd. She was the wife of Harold Derosier who died in 1971. She leaves two sons; Harold Derosier of Rockledge, Fla., Charles Derosier of Spencer, a daughter, Judy Swekla of Ware, a brother, Albert V. Cote of Spencer, a grandaughter, Wendy, wife of Paul Perron with whom she lived and 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandaughter. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Shirley A. Lareau of Spencer in 1992 and 6 brothers and 6 sisters.Born in East Brookfield, she was the daughter of William A. & Eugenie (Suzor) Derosier. Mrs. Derosier worked as a young girl at the age of 14 in the Prouty Shoe Shop which became Klevin Shoe until her retirement in the 1970's. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. The funeral will be held Monday, July 26th from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will be in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 25 from 4-7 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
