Marjorie G. (Columbus) Clark, 70 of Derry, NH died March 11, 2013 in the Fairview Nursing Home, Hudson, NH. Mrs. Clark was born in Natick, MA on July 21, 1942 a daughter of John and Ester (Lawrence) Columbus. Prior to living in Derry, Mrs. Clark resided in Barre, Wayland, and Framingham, MA. While living in Barre, she drove a school bus, and was later employed for First Student Transportation in Derry as a bus driver and driving instructor. Mrs. Clark enjoyed gardening, fishing, and enjoy crafts with her sister. In addition, she was an animal lover and liked bird watching.
She is survived by four children, Donald E. Grenier, Jr. of Orange, MA, Julie (Grenier) Chute of Nashua, NH, David J. Grenier of Orange, MA, and Sharon (Grenier) O’Malley of Dracut, MA, and one stepson, Michael Clark of Manchester, CT, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, three siblings, John Columbus of Framingham, MA, Ernie Columbus of Marlborough, MA, and Jo Ann Columbus of Chester, NH, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, C. Franklin Clark and by her sister, Janet Lloyd.
Following cremation, friends called on Saturday March 16, 2013 from 11 – 12:30 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service followed at 12:30 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, New Hampshire Chapter, PO Box 183, Londonderry, NH 03053.
