Bellingham—Collin Thomas Murphy 17, of Bellingham, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family Monday March 11, 2013 following a brave and courageous battle against cancer.
Born in Boston, on October 5, 1995 a beloved son of Thomas D. and Annette (Vicente) Murphy, he was a lifelong Bellingham resident.
Collin was raised and educated in Bellingham, and was currently a junior at Bellingham High School.
He was passionate about baseball, he played on numerous town leagues, and he enjoyed snowboarding and waterskiing. He also treasured time spent with his family in Waterville, Maine.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Cole J. Murphy and a sister Olivia H. Murphy both of Bellingham. He also leaves his maternal grandmother Reyita Vicente of Delaware and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was the grandson of the late George A. and Kathleen (Doyle) Murphy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Friday Mar. 15th at 9:45AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com with a funeral Mass in St. Brendan Parish, 384 Hartford Ave. Bellingham at 11AM.
Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery, Waterville, Maine.
