Obituary

SALEM – Julie A. Carter, 56, of Salem, died in Salem on Tuesday, March 6, 2013.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Edward F. and Alicia M. (Allen) Carter of Salem. Julie attended Salem schools and was a graduate of Salem High School. She later attended the Essex Agricultural & Technical School where she took courses in order to gain her LPN License.

She was employed as an LPN for many years at the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers.

In addition to her parents, Julie is survived by one son, Colin E. McLaughlin of Salem, one sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and William Schmidt of Brigantine, NJ, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward A. and Cheryl Carter of Chester, NH, Andrew L and Elizabeth Carter of Chantilly, VA, and 7 nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 4-7 pm at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
