Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 4-8pm.

Lillian W. (Welch) Florio died Saturday morning at her home after a brief illness.Born and raised in Brockton, daughter of the late William J. and Elizabeth (Bortkevich) Welch, she remained a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1948 and Williams Business School in Brockton.
For 40 years she had been a jeweler at Kay Jewelers in Brockton She was affectionately called “Mrs. Kay“ by many. Previously she managed Wilbur Rogers Women’s Apparel in downtown Brockton. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter Lynne R. Cataldo and her husband Stephen of Raynham, one son Michael R. Florio and his wife Lori of Brockton, six grandchildren Jennifer, Melissa and Christopher Turpel and Samantha, Michaela and Gabriella Florio, her sister Shirley Holman of Kissimmee, FL and several nieces and nephews.
