CHICOPEE – Normand J. “Norm” Beaudry, 80, of the Fairview section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Friday, March 8, 2013. He passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family and his wonderful caregivers. He was born at home in Chicopee on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1932, a beloved son of the late Henry and Juliette (Champagne) Beaudry. At a young age, his parents moved to the North End section of Springfield where he was raised and graduated from the former Springfield Trade High School. He later returned to Chicopee and settled in the Fairview section of the city around 1978. He was employed for many years as a tool and die maker at the former Moore Drop Forge Company in Springfield. He leaves his loving children, Denise J. Letourneau and her husband, Keith, of Miami, FL, Patricia L. Frogameni and her husband, Vincent, of East Longmeadow, Lee N. Beaudry of Chicopee and Michelle A. Caron of Enfield, CT; his six cherished grandchildren whom he adored, David Letourneau and his wife, Michelle, Deanna Letourneau, Nicholas Frogameni, Vincent Frogameni, Joshua Beaudry and Jennifer Sullivan and her husband, Shaun; his two cherished great-grandchildren, Carter Letourneau and Haylee Sullivan; his brother, Henry Beaudry, Jr. of Enfield, CT; and his many nephews and nieces. His relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. which will be followed by a Prayer Service at 10 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will follow the service at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His family has requested that memorial donations be made in his memory to Baystate Visiting Nurse and Hospice, 280 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01199.
