Mr. Robert M. Davenport, Sr. age 75 of Fitzgerald, GA formerly of Ellijay died Tuesday March 5, 2013.
Mr. Davenport was born on August 28, 1937 in Fannin Co. He is the son of the late Harrison Davenport and Minerva Jones Davenport. He was a self employed woodworker and a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by a brother Abern Davenport.
Survivors include: Sister: Ollie Richey, Epworth, GA; Brother: Bobby Davenport, Oak Hill, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service will be held Friday March 8, 2013 at 2pm from the Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Young officiating.
