Mary (Pereira) Medeiros, age 88 of Fall River passed away March 7, 2013. Born in Fall River, she was the wife of Antone Medeiros and daughter of the late Alfred and Maria (Duarte Rocha) Perry. She had worked at the Fall River Knitting Mill for over 33 years prior to retiring as a supervisor. She was a parishioner of St. Michael Church.
Mary was the mother of Antone Michael Medeiros (wife Julia) of Berkley; grandmother of Mark Anthony Medeiros (wife Meagan) and Wayne Medeiros (wife Stephanie); great grandmother of Joshua Leach, Jared, Tyler and Dylan Medeiros, Heather Godek (husband Seth); great great grandmother of Dakota and Jada Godek and sister of the late Duarte “Dewey” Perry and Laura Travassos. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral, which will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Monday at 10:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church, Essex St. at 11:30 A.M.
