MAHONEY, RITA ANN, 83, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2013.
She was born August 14, 1929 to the late Carl and Loretta Miller. Rita was a homemaker who loved her family, traveling in her RV and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Walter "Tennie" Mahoney; and her children, Patrick and Lisa Mahoney; as well as her sister, Mary Margaret Vernon.
Left to cherish her memory, her daughter Carla (John) Hogue; and her grandchildren Alex, Carrie, Maggie Doucette, Jay and Caitlin Hogue.
We would like to thank the administration and staff at Emeritus, Stonecreek Lodge for their care and support of Rita and our family. Her funeral Mass will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5433 Johnsontown Road. Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. until the Mass, at the church. Owen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
