Josephine Ciaccio, age 88, died on July 21, 2004 at the Blair House of Tewksbury after a brief illness. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Accursia (Marciante) and Leonardo Ciaccio.
Ms. Ciaccio has been a longtime Medford resident. Josephine worked as a stitcher in and around the Boston area for many years, and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She retired in 1975.
Josephine was the loving sister of Michael Ciaccio of Medford, Vincent “Jim” Ciaccio of Norwood, Lucy LaBella of Tewksbury and the late Frank Ciaccio. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford at 9 AM.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 3 thru 7. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
