Jose G. DaSilva passed away July 21, 2004 @ Saint Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved father of Sabrina DaSilva, Carla Almeida and Gabriel DaSilva, all of New Bedford. He was the loved grandfather of Juliana Almeida of New Bedford. Mr. DaSilva also had 2 sisters that live in Portugal.
Mr. DaSilva was born in New Bedford, son of the late Joaquim DaSilva and the late Victoria (Gameiro). Mr. DaSilva was the owner/proprietor of the Lavina and of the Pilot House.
Visiting hours for Mr. DaSilva will be held Sunday, July 25, 2004 from 5-8pm. Family and friends are welcomed. Burial will be in Portugal. In Leiu of Flowers please send donations to The American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, Ma 01701.
