Obituary

T.H. Hogan, 57, of Fitzgerald, died Monday, July 19, 2004, at the Irwin County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 23, 2004, at Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Irwin County, with Rev. James Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00, Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Hogan was born August 18, 1946 in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Robert Thomas and Eva Mae Griffin Hogan. He lived in Fitzgerald most of his life and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. Mr. Hogan retired after twenty-six years as a truck driver, nineteen of those years he worked for United Farm Tools. He was a member of the Church Of The Nazarene, Fitzgerald.

Mr. Hogan is survived by his wife: Candy Hogan, Fitzgerald; two daughters: Melissa Hogan and Crystal Kay Odom, both of Fitzgerald; one step-son: William H. Rowell, Jr., Yulee, FL; nine grandchildren; three brothers: Jimmy Hogan, Thomasville, GA, Bobby Hogan, Fitzgerald, GA and Billy Hogan, Tifton, GA; five sisters: Betty Dickson, Dale Glass, Kathy McDaniel and Shirley Hogan, all of Fitzgerald and Carolyn Hall, Nichols, GA.
