Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church Parish Center at 9 am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm.
Obituary
Mrs. Duford died Wednesday at the Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Tiverton, Rhode Island daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Pereira) Aguiar. After her marriage 58 years ago she moved to Brockton.
Mrs. Duford had been a member of the ILGWU (International Ladies Garment Workers Union) and was a stitcher in several Brockton manufacturers.She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed time spent with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren
Mrs. Duford was a longtime communicant of St. Margaret Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters Joseph F. Duford and his wife Cathy of Brockton; Elizabeth “Sis” Francoeur and her husband Steven of Bridgewater; Linda LeGay and her husband Malcolm “Mac” of Foxboro and Paul E. Duford and his wife Mary of Dighton.Eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildrenShe also is survived by three brothers Jesse Aguiar of Riverside, RI; Henry Aguiar of New Hampshire and Frank Aguiar of Tiverton, RI and many nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Mary “Mamie” Andrade, Alice Amaral and George Aguiar
