Adella M. (Dembkowski) Marotte, 89, of Pelham, NH, died Sunday March 3rd at The Oxford in Haverhill. Born in Lawrence and raised in Andover, she had been an area resident all her life. Mrs. Marotte graduated in 1943 from Punchard High School in Andover. She worked for AT &T as an assembler until her retirement in 1993 and was a lifetime member of the Northeast Agricultural Society. The Widow of William P. Marotte Sr. And daughter of the late Stefan and Walerja (Krolikowska) Dembkowski, she is survived by four daughters: Joan Vermeulen of Danville, NH; Adelle and her husband George Chauncy of N. Hampton, NH; Helen and her husband Terrence “Terry” Desrosiers of Pelham, NH; and Carin Eddings of Methuen. Three sons: William P. Marotte Jr. And his wife Linda of Methuen; Emile Marotte and his wife Shirley of Haverhill; and Steven Marotte of N. Andover. One sister; Henrietta Robidoux of Lawrence, one Brother Walter Dembkowski of Methuen. One sister-in-law Evelyn Marotte and one Brother-in law Richard Marotte. There are 11 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence.
