Ann R. “Nancy” (Kerper) Driscoll 71, died Sunday March 3rd after being diagnosed with AML leukemia. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger T. Driscoll.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late George and Rose (Boyle) Kerper.
Ann was a former resident of Whitman and spent 40 years as an Obstetrics RN, and retired 7 years ago after a lengthy career at Brockton Hospital. She was a proud Grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Amy Balonis and her husband William of Kingston, her son Andrew of Plymouth, her grandsons PFC Parker J. Driscoll USMC of Kingston and Liam Driscoll of Bridgewater, and her granddaughters Katrina and Zoe Driscoll of Bridgewater. She was also the sister of George Kerper of Florida.
Her services will be held Saturday March 9 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 9 AM in the Holy Ghost Church in Whitman. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery in Whitman. Visiting hours will be held Friday March 8 from 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers her children would like to request that friends and family donate blood to the American Red Cross, who helped Ann so much in the last weeks of her life.
